The Foredom

The Foredom or flexible shaft unit is a rotary tool, which was originally developed and used in the Dentist industry, however Goldsmith soon saw its benefits.

There are a number of rotary tools on the market “Dremel” is a very recognized brand name sold in hardware stores, but nothing comes close to the “smooth” ride of a Foredom.

The Foredom is widely used and the favorite of goldsmiths for drilling holes, grinding and polishing.

There are literally hundreds of attachments and conversion tools available for it making the Foredom a very versatile and time saving tool.
